Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026.
This Privacy Policy describes how Sinn Development Ltd. (“Sinn
Development”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal
information through this website (sinndevelopment.com). It applies to
visitors and to anyone who contacts us through the site.
Sinn Development Ltd. is the data controller for the information described below and is incorporated in Ontario, Canada.
Information we collect
- Information you provide. When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, any company name you provide, and the contents of your message.
- Email correspondence. If you contact us by email or in reply to a contact-form enquiry, we collect the contents of that correspondence and any information you choose to include.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and our systems automatically log limited technical data with each request, including IP address, user-agent string, requested URL, referrer, and timestamp. This data is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
- Analytics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-less and does not fingerprint individual visitors. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party social pixels.
- Cookies. This site does not set cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. Strictly necessary cookies may be used for security (for example, Cloudflare bot mitigation or Turnstile challenges).
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and any follow-up correspondence.
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the website.
- Prevent fraud and abuse, including spam filtering and bot mitigation.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Legal basis (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent — for sending a message through the contact form.
- Legitimate interests — for operating, securing, and improving the site, and for replying to your enquiry.
- Legal obligation — where required by applicable law.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for marketing purposes. We share information only with:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, network security, and email routing for the contact form. Cloudflare processes data on our behalf under its own data-protection terms.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or acquirers — where reasonably necessary to obtain legal or accounting advice, comply with a lawful request, enforce our agreements, protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent measures.
Retention
We retain contact-form submissions and related correspondence for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, complete any resulting engagement, and comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Technical and security logs are retained for a limited period (typically up to 90 days) and then deleted or aggregated.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including PIPEDA in Canada, GDPR in the EEA, and UK GDPR), you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of your personal information;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- request portability of information you provided to us;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing; and
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@sinndevelopment.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the applicable threshold). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by a more prominent notice.
Contact
Privacy questions or requests can be sent to contact@sinndevelopment.com, or by mail to Sinn Development Ltd., Ontario, Canada.

Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party sites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Sinn Development does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, or that information on the Site is accurate, complete, or current. To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Sinn Development, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
The aggregate liability of Sinn Development arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CA$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sinn Development and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Modifications to the Site and these Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Site are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, for the resolution of any such dispute, except where prohibited by applicable mandatory law.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any separate written agreement between you and Sinn Development, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sinn Development regarding the Site, and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject matter.
